You’ll know who your tutor is, and what it costs, before you pay anything.

Meet your tutor
We introduce a tutor who scored a 7 in the subject. You meet them free for 15 minutes, and if they aren’t the right fit, we introduce someone else.
Choose your hours
Buy a package of 5 to 100 hours. Larger packages can be shared across subjects and tutors.
Start lessons
Lessons run live online at times that suit the student’s timetable. Each lesson is billed to the minute, and your tutor records what was covered.

Our tutors are recent IB graduates who know the course as it’s taught and examined today.
Before you meet a tutor, you’ll see their subjects, IB scores and university.

- Every tutor scored at least 42 out of 45 in their IB Diploma.

- Tutors only teach subjects they scored a 7 in themselves.
- Interviewed and observed
- Each tutor passes an interview and a trial lesson with us before they teach.
- Police-checked
- Every tutor has a current police check and follows our safeguarding policy.

How do online lessons work?
Lessons are live, one-to-one video calls on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, with a shared whiteboard and documents. Students need a laptop with a camera and somewhere quiet to work. A tablet or stylus helps in maths and the sciences.
When can lessons take place?
At times that suit the student, including weekends and school holidays. We match each family with a tutor whose availability fits their timetable and time zone.
How does billing to the minute work?
Lessons don’t have to be an hour long. A 45-minute lesson uses 45 minutes of your package, and a 90-minute lesson uses 90. If you ask a tutor for work outside a lesson, such as marking a full practice paper, they agree the time with you before starting.
What if our tutor isn’t the right fit?
Tell us and we’ll introduce another tutor at no extra cost. Your remaining hours carry over to the new tutor.
Can a tutor help with the IA, Extended Essay or TOK essay?
Yes, within the IB’s academic integrity rules. Tutors explain the assessment criteria, help plan research and give feedback on drafts. They never write or rewrite coursework, because it has to be the student’s own work.
What happens if we need to miss a lesson?
Let your tutor know at least 24 hours before and the lesson is moved at no cost. A lesson missed without notice may be deducted from your package.
Can we get a refund?
Yes. If you’re not happy after your first two hours of lessons, tell us and we’ll refund the full package.
